Use & wear

I wore these for the last year for site visits at work and to go out around town with my wife.

Leather

Seidel Natural Double Shot

The leather has become extremely supple. It has been conditioned twice and has darkened slightly.

Satisfied with the Fit

These have plenty of room for my feet. I added thick leather insoles. This last certainly has more room than the MP or HNW last.

Craftsmanship

White's Perry 8" Select

I think they are built well. I wouldn’t say they are on par with my MP’s, but I have no issues with the craftsmanship. The stitching still looks the same as the day I got it.

Sole & heel

The wedge sole is very useful for days standing on concrete. I don’t wear them heavily, but they are part of my boot rotation.

Final thoughts

Would Recommend
Good Value

These boots were my first foray into PNW boots. Fast forward a year and I have 8 pairs and climbing. These boots don’t get worn heavily due to the fact that I rotate all my boots from day to day. I would say the double shot leather is still the most supple leather I have on any pair of boots. It had darkened slightly, which I like. These will always be special as they were my first great pair of boots. My feet and body will always be thankful to them for showing me what the world of high quality boots could do for my back and knees. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a nice, soft leather casual moc toe boot.
