I needed new boots and I liked the bloodcore idea. Especially with as tuff as it is
I watched a few videos and winged it. I added a leather insole because I could’ve gone done a half size
It was an excellent experience and one I hope to do again
I’m a plumber in an RV factory, and my day job is fast-paced—we push 46 high-end tow-behinds a day. I’m constantly on my feet, crawling under sinks, or climbing ladders. At home, life doesn’t slow down: I’ve got 14 dogs, three kids, a garden to tend, and wood to cut for the winter. I’ll even jump on a roof if someone needs a hand. Through it all, these boots have kept up—16 hours a day, every single day, since October. In the Midwest, we need gear as tough as the weather, and these deliver
These boots are designed to bleed red when scuffed, yet despite wearing them daily, the leather looks almost as good as day one. Even ABS cement, silicone, and gasket putty slide right off without a trace. The two-week break-in was easy; after a bit of Obenauf's boot oil, I was good to go.
I’m in love with the 4811 last; my feet feel amazing and they wear like a slipper, though they’re a half-size too big. I've learned to take more time with sizing, but a White’s insole with a custom-cut leather strip fixed them right up. I’m already looking forward to my next 4811 lasted boot
It’s a ten across the board for me
Not bad. No issues on the concrete at work and very little trouble with the ice outside
I love it for being outside in the bud as it doesn’t pick up and carry it with me inside. Works well when you have 14 dogs and a garden
I wish I could just buy it again in the right size but I’ll just have them rebuilt when I need a new sole. By far my favorite pair of boots to date
