I cannot wear boots to work as I’m working in a job where a formal dress code is demanded. This means that my Whites (and other boots) are essentially weekend warriors. And warriors here means that they fight against NYC pavement and the occasional visit of the upstate NY outdoors. They age very gracefully and slowly I feel. I went on a hike with my family to a see a full masonary bridge that has been submerged since 1880, anyway my oldest daughter got stuck in the much and I had to go in an “rescue” her and got all of that smelly decaying vegetation much on my boots which left some pretty wild stains where the muck was caught between my jean and the shaft. I also for everything else possible Christmas shopping at the mall, cleaning up my yard, riding the kids around on my dirtbike, holiday parties so on and so forth...."Read the full review

I wore them to the shooting range, which was nice. It was good to have a solid footing while shooting. My job requires heavy lifting and lots of steps on concrete. First, the one two punch of Helene and Milton. Then, straight back home to regular work in Jersey, pulling wire for a reconductor. Then, moved an hour inland to work on some 12kv feeder tie points outside of a substation.

I don’t do anything crazy with them as I don’t have a job that demands they get extremely dirty or beat up, however I do put about 10,000 steps on them everyday.
