Nov-Dec: November was a blustery month in the PNW. These boots slogged through the downed branches and wet leaves while walking enthusiastic dogs.
Dec-Jan: December is more of the same: outdoor dog walking in PNW rainy muddy weather 🐾
Jan-Feb: January saw more dog walking through all terrain which included being tangled in brambles and lots of mud.

I don’t wear them for really rough work-boots stuff, but everything else is fair game. I don’t baby them at all… they’ve been on dusty nature walks, beach sand, grassy fields, mud puddles, etc. I walk 5-10 miles per day around town, so they’ve seen a lot of pavement too.
These are also my “nice” shoes for formal occasions - or at least what passes as formal in the rural Pacific Northwest. They kept my feet cozy during my college graduation, conference presentations, two rounds of jury duty, and several job interviews...."Read the full review
Well worth the wait
White's Bounty Hunter in Horween Cinnamon Waxed Flesh & Horweem Olive Waxed FleshBy dwbrunton • October 29, 2024"This is my 3rd pair of White's boots but my first custom order. My choice of the C461 last was two fold (take advantage of the full customisation experience) and more importantly, the aesthetic of the sprung toe.
My other White's boots are on the 1972 last (perry select) and the mp last - both in 9.5. While I can and have worn each of those for extended periods without issue, neither of them prepared me for the comfort of the C461.
This last may be the perfect last for me. Sized half down from HTT Brannock to a 10, these boots feel like nothing I have worn before. The arch is just high enough so you know it's there and giving my feet a stability that makes the boot feel a part of my feet and very firmly grounded...."Read the full review
