The double-welt construction employed on the Captoelari has been described as unique within Indonesian manufacturing and rare globally. Construction options available for the model include storm welt, Norwegian, veldtschoen, and flat welt configurations.

Standard Captoelari specifications include an eight-inch shaft height with full lamb lining. Hardware consists of antique brass eyes and hooks. The boot features a Dr Sole brown outsole as standard, paired with a dogger heel. A vegetable leather midsole is incorporated into the construction.

Available heel options for custom orders include block, logger, and Cuban styles. The model can be configured with various leather selections including Cloe, Maryam, Horween, and Siege (a local Indonesian brand). Special leather requests can be accommodated through Tahura's custom ordering process.

Tahura Boots Company operates a workshop of eight craftspeople in Bandung, Indonesia, producing 40 to 60 pairs of boots monthly through hand-lasting and hand-welting processes. The company was officially established in 2016, though the founder has worked in footwear since 2010.

The Captoelari is produced on a made-to-order basis with a lead time of three to four months from payment. Custom measurements are required for proper fit. Orders are placed through Instagram or WhatsApp contact with the company.

Base pricing for Tahura boots with imported leather begins at $350, with horsebutt leather options starting at $400. A specific Captoelari configuration in Horween natural horsehide was priced at $510 as of 2022-2023. All pricing includes shipping.

Standard configurations have been offered at approximately $425. Shell cordovan options are available starting at $600.
