The Jobmaster model emerged from Wesco's deep roots serving Oregon's timber industry, when Oregon was the logging capital of the world. The boot was particularly popular among skilled tradesmen, with some workers maintaining two pairs of Jobmasters that they would rotate through their demanding workdays.

Every Jobmaster boot undergoes Wesco's traditional 155-step manufacturing process, performed by dedicated craftsmen working hand-to-hand at the company's 16,000 square foot facility in Scappoose, Oregon. The process uses only full-grain leather, ensuring each boot develops character and durability over time.

The construction features double row stitchdown construction with a full double leather midsole. The boots incorporate traditional hand-crafting techniques that have been refined over more than a century of American bootmaking, with every pair handcrafted in the United States.

The Jobmaster features a stiff upper that provides sturdy ankle support while maintaining flexibility for extended wear.
