The Morrison is built on Wesco's Motor Patrol MP1339 last, which runs narrow compared to standard boot sizing. The MP1339 last provides a snug, narrow fit where an E width fits similarly to a standard D width when compared to other boot manufacturers.

Construction follows Wesco's traditional stitchdown method incorporating spring steel shanks and double layers of leather over the foot and heel areas. Leather insoles and midsoles replace cork filling throughout the boot's structure, maintaining the company's preference for all-leather component construction.

The Morrison features directional cut leather, where each piece is cut from the optimal section of the hide rather than maximizing material efficiency.
