Will's Vegan Store was founded by Will Green in 2012. The first collection included six footwear styles, such as Chelsea Boots and Work Boots. The brand presented its debut collection at Bristol Vegfest on May 24, 2013. An official launch took place at The Third Estate during the Brecknock Road Vegan Festival in November 2013. Subsequent years saw an expansion of the product range to include belts, wallets, knitwear, coats, running trainers, and hiking boots. The company changed its name from Will's Vegan Shoes to Will's Vegan Store to reflect this broader product offering.

Will's Vegan Store manufactures its products in Italy and Portugal. Facilities comply with European Union employment, discrimination, and health and safety regulations. The company states that all employees in the supply chain work under these legal protections.

Will's Vegan Store uses Italian bio-based vegan leather made from plant sources, including cereal crops. The most recent version of this material contains 69% bio-oil with a viscose backing obtained from eucalyptus trees. The vegan suede used in some products consists of 100% polyurethane. The company does not use PVC or PFCs in its manufacturing processes.
