Work Boots

The boots are designed as alternatives to traditional leather work boots, using waterproof construction and plant-based materials. Will's Vegan Store has refined the work boot models annually since their introduction.

Will's Vegan Store offers multiple configurations of work boots. The standard Work Boots are available in Chestnut, Black, Tan, and Dark Brown color options. Wide Fit Work Boots feature an EE width fitting compared to the standard D width fitting. The WVSport Safety Work Boots are manufactured to European S3 standard for workplace safety requirements.

Additional variants include Insulated Work Boots for cold weather conditions and Buckled Work Boots with alternative closure systems. Men's sizes range from US 7.5-14, while women's sizes range from UK 2-9.

The standard Work Boots use breathable and water-resistant vegan leather uppers containing 69% bio-oil content. WVSport Safety Work Boots feature abrasion and scuff resistant Lyliane 3DMX and Cordura materials for the uppers. All models incorporate non-slip Vibram outsoles with deep tread solid rubber containing recycled content.

Construction includes double or triple stitching throughout for durability. The boots are lab tested waterproof, featuring waterproof seams, a sealed tongue, and a breathable waterproof membrane. Design details include large rear pull tabs made with recycled polyester embroidered with WVS and embossing on the tongue and outsole.

Comfort features consist of removable cushioned anatomic insoles with padding on the tongue and around the collar for ankle support.

The WVSport Safety Work Boots comply with European S3 safety standards, specifically certified to S3 HRO HI CI WR SRC UNI EN ISO 20345:2012. The boots are classified as safety PPE work wear in Europe. The S3 rating indicates the boots meet requirements for toe protection, anti-static properties, energy absorption in the heel, and fuel oil resistance.

Additional certifications include HRO for heat resistant outsole, HI for heat insulation, CI for cold insulation, WR for water resistance, and SRC for slip resistance on both ceramic and steel surfaces. The boots feature a protective composite toe cap and puncture resistant outsole.

The WVSport models do not comply with ASTM standards and cannot be worn in the United States as safety PPE work wear. The boots are designed and produced in the foothills of the Dolomite Hills, Italy.

Will's Vegan Store recommends storing the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources. Forced drying can result in cracked vegan leather and a compromised waterproof membrane. Regular maintenance includes wiping down the boots with a cloth after each use to remove dirt and maintain appearance.

The manufacturer advises treating waterproof models with a suitable waterproof treatment approximately once per month depending on use. Waterproofing spray should be reapplied every two to three months based on usage patterns. Salt or grit should be removed using a solution of two parts water to one part vinegar, followed by rinsing with a damp cloth and patting dry.

Regular soap should not be used on the vegan leather material. Instead, vegan saddle soap is recommended for cleaning purposes.
