The Havana features a high-top silhouette with speed hooks integrated into the lacing system for quick tying. The boot uses waxed cotton laces and includes a stacked leather heel design.

Upper materials are available in two leather types. Full-grain leather is offered in Caramel, Desert, Black, Mahogany, Denim Blue, Spruce, and Plum colorways. Nubuck leather, which is calfskin that has been sanded to create a napped finish, is available in Oatmeal, Black, Mahogany, and White.

The interior lining consists of calf skin material. Insoles feature high-density memory foam for cushioning support. The midsole is constructed from vegetable-tanned soling leather, and all leather components are either vegetable-tanned or sourced from tanneries with environmental sustainability certifications. The outsole consists of vegetable-tanned leather with a rubber sole protector, though customers can request all-leather soles through special instructions at checkout.

The boot utilizes Goodyear welt construction, in which the upper, insole, and outsole are stitched to a strip of leather called a welt. This method allows the boot to be fully resoleable and provides watertight construction.

Production takes place in a single workshop in Pastores, Guatemala, where each pair is handcrafted by artisans who earn double the local wage. The hand production process emits minimal carbon dioxide compared to machine manufacturing methods.

The Havana is produced on a made-to-order basis with extensive sizing options. Standard sizes range from 4 through 17 with half-sizes available throughout the range. Width options include C-Narrow, D-Standard, E-Slight Wide, EE-Wide, EEE-Very Wide, EEEE-Very Very Wide, and EEEEE-Super Wide.

Split sizing is available for customers who require different sizes for each foot. The boot fits true to size according to standard boot sizing conventions. Virtual fitting consultations are offered to ensure proper fit before production begins.

Customers can request full personalization within the production timeline, and customization options can be specified in special instructions at checkout. Each pair is custom-made to individual measurements rather than selected from existing inventory.

Each boot is assigned to a specific Guatemalan artisan who is introduced to the customer at the time of purchase. Throughout the production process, customers receive photos and videos documenting the creation of their boots. Each shoebox includes a photograph and information about the specific craftsman who made the pair.
