55 Last: 11.5E

They fit great at first but after the arch settled they became too short and too narrow at the toes (I have flat feet). Had to spend 18 days on the stretcher at the cobblers changing the focus to different areas every few days to get them to fit. Now they fit well enough with thin socks. Subsequently realized I'm size 12E on the 55, though an 11.5e heel with a 12E ball and length would probably be even better.

More about this item

I got this one from Bakers size 11.5E. Natural cxl 7 incher with logger heel. I find 7 inches to be the perfect sweet spot for casual use. I was measured and after breaking it in, the arch settled and they became too small, which was deeply disappointingly. I spoke with Bakers customer service about the issue and they were beyond fantastic. If you are doubting to pick up a pair with them, don't. I brought them to the cobblers and had them stretch it out to no avail. A couple months passed and figured Id give it another shot. I brought them back to the cobbler and had them on the stretchers focusing on different zones over the course of a few times (would bring it, have them fix it, wear for a day and bring it back) for a total of 18 days on the stretcher and they did finally manage to fit my feet (albeit with very thin socks). I will say the leather on these has aged fantastically. I'm quite happy with their look. Care: I've brushed them after every other wear and applied venetian shoe cream twice on the boot and once every couple weeks on the midsole/heel stack leather. As of November 2024 they have around 800 hours of use where 85% of that is an office environment.
