Thanks to Horween for the alchemy to produce a product that has me transfixed when I look at my boots. Words diminish my attempt to clarify the "badass" quality of this leather.
Form fitting design, proportions are balanced, both comfort and function. Great fit as the sides never mushroomed out. Think about that! CWF doesn't stretch.
Durable: Demolition, construction, car repair, motor rebuild, yard maintenance, painting, pouring concrete, rock and mortar, hiking, air travel, and the list goes on. The eyes are all doing well, but the black paint on a couple of hooks have scraped off. This was expected, and I actually like the brass tops shining through. I prefer warn over pretty looking work boots.
Lining, calfskin lining uppers! Didn't stain socks easy to remove, and added support.
Stitching is all intact on the uppers, with no loose threads.
Heels, heel stack, and split sole, held up to shivel digging in clay and gravel.
V-tread soles were sticking on an 8/12 roof 35 degrees, even while wet. Love abound!..."Read the full review
