Julian Boots was founded by Julian Imrie, who was born in London. Imrie studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City before working in construction and at horse ranches. His interest in bootmaking began while living on a farm in Kentucky. Imrie started Julian Boots in Los Angeles in 2005.
