Use & wear

Wet Conditions

I’ve essentially lived in these, just doing the regular thing. Nothing too crazy, but they’ve been rained and snowed on for sure.

It’s a beautiful material that absolutely glows in the sunlight. Suede is so much better than people give it credit. Indigo crocking and some areas of lowlights really creates a lot of depth. Nearly zero break in period and I may have brushed them once or twice?

Satisfied with the Fit

The TruNalance last is my favorite. It fits my flat hobbit feet better than most. Then you put a wedge on it? Living the lux life.

Design

The Indy boot is an icon for sure, while it has gotten dragged a bit over the past years, it’s still my first choice when I grab something to wear. While some of the materials may not be of the highest caliber, this is a boot where the sum of the parts is what makes them. I do have two gripes: the wedge has started to pull away from the welt, so they will need recrafting - with a different sole. This wedge had zero traction once they were worn smooth, resulting in a few close calls and one full wipeout.

Super comfy, but SUPER slippery

Would Recommend

Just give me all the Indy boots.
