I wore them in any situation. Most patina probably came from hiking in them, but I wore them for work (office job) and any and everything social as well.
The leather was great. The panel matching wasn’t great, but with patina that isn’t an issue.
Perfect fit. Now I know I love a Munson last. Handled my high instep. I always kept a pedag arch support and that was a nice addition.
Honestly, it wasn’t as perfect as I had heard John Lofgren boots are prior to buying them. The panel matching wasn’t great. There were some minor cosmetic stitch issues, and the back stay on one was pretty clearly not straight. But they were all things that were not going to be noticeable after wear, so the Thunderdome helped in making them look better in that way, too.
My second vibram 700 and the durability is just great. These saw a lot of miles, mainly on trails but some on hard pavement, and they show so little wear. Traction was fine for what I needed.
So much fun. My go-to favorite pair for practically any situation. Comfortable, look great. Love them.
