Worn them every second day for the competition. Over 6 countries and 30 flights. Worn them in Board Rooms, worn them on farms. Never felt out of place (and didn’t care is they were). Through an Australian summer with heat up to 110f.
The leather darkened with use. Constant brushing gave them a shine. Most scrapes and scratches brushed out but it added to the patina. The break-in was pretty easy and the comfort constantly got better. Despite wearing in heat, the leather breathed and I was never uncomfortable. The boots were indestructible.
Last is perfect for my feet. The arch support lets me walk all day. Depending on if I was flying (feet swelling) I wore compression socks, otherwise boot socks. The toe box was a little tight being a pointed toe from Nicks. But I offset this by getting a wider boot than
The design is great. The pointed toe box gave it a dress feel. The heavy construction makes it fit for anything. Clicking was not perfect with some loose leather on the left boot, but that added to the character.
Sole is wearing evenly, is durable and comfortable

They say these can’t be worn as a dress boot, they say you can’t travel with a 10 inch lace up boot, they say it’s too hot to wear in summer. I trust I have proved this wrong. These boots I will proudly wear for years and highly recommend them.
