I tried to wear them in a variety of environments. Wore to work almost every day, wore them on a trip to Europe, also wore them hiking. They held up to everything I went through.
Was a pretty rough break in. The leather insole especially took a month or two to really break it in. I also loved the way the leather change with the months of wear. Especially the sides that clipped my chair daily made a unique patina.
I was worried at first that I gave wrong measurements and were a bit too snug, but when I finally broke them in they fit like a glove.
Loved the split toe, first pair of horsebutt leather and I really like how it feels.
