I don't do particularly onerous work, but I do wear them daily: rising my bike, teaching, walking the dog. They don't take the abuse that some of our work dome compatriots inflict, and so haven't transformed nearly as dramatically, but they have received daily wear.
Comfortable from the first wear and remarkably resilient -- I didn't condition it once over the thunderdome, as it simply didn't need it.
I don't think I've found a last/size that fits my foot better than the vulture. Obviously a very individual issue, but I love it.
Rizky makes beautiful boots.
I find this sole to be a little slick when wet. It wears well and feels good in good conditions, but on wet sidewalk it's not quite as grippy as something like the Vibram londra.
The thunderdome reminds me every year how effective it is in turning a new pair of boots into something familiar and cozy.
