Why did you choose this item?
I love the Muleskinner leather. My pair of Iron Rangers in the Muleskinner have patina’d beautifully and that is the main reason I chose these boots. I love roughout leather and cowboy boots so for me, these are perfect.
How did you determine your size?
I just went with the size I get all my boots in, I have another pair of cowboy boots in a 10.5D which move too much on my feet and I figured with an E width I can probably get away with getting a size 10. No advice was given, and I’m happy with my choice.
What was the ordering process?
Pleasant. I paid for overnight shipping and received them in 2 days.
Use & wear
I work on my feet, lots of walking. I ride a motorcycle and I live in an area that sees all types of weather. Since it’s my first day it hasn’t seen a lot of action just yet. I rode into work this morning and it had rained last night. So far got quite a bit of steps in the boots and my feet are doing great.
Leather
With my Iron Rangers, beautifully. That’s why I chose these boots. I do minimal care and lots of wear. I’ll try to brush these since winter is coming up and try my best to keep them dry. Break in process so far so good. Got a little bit of indigo transfer already and some marks from shifting on my motorcycle.
Fit
It’s a little tight in the box, nothing painful. I have wide toes that like to spread and I can get a Little spread which is nice. First day wearing them outside and it’s comfortable so far. I can walk and stand with comfort.
Craftsmanship
I love the design and construction. Very sleek boot and I can just tell they will Patina wonderfully. Everything is clean, all the stitching and just look and feel of the boot.
Sole & heel
New experience, it’s nice. Not noticeable which is nice, some boots feel like I’m walking on stilts.
New experience so we will see.

I’m excited. I love how these boots feel on foot and how the look on and off. I can’t wait to continue wearing them as much as possible.
