Red Wing Shoes
Pecos
US Men's Brannock: 11
Not Sure Last: 9.5E
Was recommended a 9.5 as my IR are the same size at first was a nice fit with a bit of heal slip but over the compition they felt really tight on the toes so would get a 10 next time
Red Wing London
Cost: 349 GBP
Availability: Limited Edition
Wore most days to work and on walks in the country side also around London and other cities I traveled to Primarily in raw denim
Like my other pairs of Hawthorne it was tough at first but got supple over time. The leather picked up most things it touched like indigo, warter, mud and grease I didn't condition with any products just wiped and brushed off any dirt that stuck on. Because I mainly wore with denim the boots picked up the indigo from them the most and has a.nice blue hue to the boots. The leather is very durable and stood up to anything I gave it
Should have gone for a size up Got 9.5 instead of a 10 Felt really tight towards the end of the competition and didn't really feel any arch support
Classic design, though construction and minimal finishing Very standard for redwing boots but that's what I like
Wore quicker than another Chemigum sole shoe I have But felt the same. Quite thin and not a lot of grip in the wet or mud and could easily feel the ground temperature
About the same as the sole
Overall really good pair of cowboy/ rancher boots Perfect for any occasion and gets plenty of compliments Not the best for a muddy walk but will get you to the destination I would go for something with a midsoles or slightly better arch support next time but if you like the classic RW soling then you will be happy Great value for money and good customer service from the store
