The only time I had an issue was when a bit of mold showed up after 25 straight days of working in damp, rainy conditions. But even that cleared up easily just by giving them sun and fresh air. The bulk of the work that I’ve done in these boots has been on a warehouse TI job roping, running EMT ranging from 3/4”-2.5”, and some underground work. Nicks Robert in Seidel 1964 Brown SmoothBy Monkley • April 1, 2024"I work in a factory that produces electronic components. I've been transitioning off of the production floor and into a more (but not completely) office oriented role.
These have seen the usual desk patina, but also have been exposed to drops of acetone and other solvents, some dilute acid, and etching solutions.
There's also been some manual labor, but not very intense - occasionally crawling around to work on equipment.
I've used them on some short walks, but nothing significant enough to warrant the word "hike."
I didn't like the way the edges were wearing part way through, so I lightly sanded the finish off and refinished them myself. I much prefer this look now...."Read the full review

The lighter weight build has helped me keep up with the fast-paced environment and given me peace of mind when it comes to dropping drinks or things on my feet. I've taken the boots to the family homestead in the Raneer foothills, walked with the slugs and moose in the local wildlife parks, hiked with my dog Remi at the PNW famous Bowl and Pitcher trail and trenched through snow during the longer winter this year...."Read the full review

Nicks StationMaster in Seidel 1964 Tan SmoothBy 32oz_denim • April 5, 2025"These guys have spent most of their hours kicking around Perennial Artisan Ales in St. Louis, MO and it’d probably be easier to describe what they haven’t seen. I mainly manage our barrel aging program as well as maintaining and fixing equipment and systems, but you’ll find me doing just about any job in the brewery as the operations manager. As a small team, I still spend plenty of days brewing, cellaring, and packaging beer to get the job done. It’s hot, humid, wet, and often dirty work. This winter was pretty gnarly with a ton more snow and ice than usual- whoda thought Vibram 700 isn’t ideal for ice? whoops. They’ve also spent plenty of time outdoors wandering around the woods and our family farm chasing youngins. There is endless amounts of scuffing from the brewery, but I’m sure feral toddler feet have left their mark as well...."Read the full review

I manage a bakery/Coffee shop and spend most of my time on bar or making items. The snow in my area often didn't cause any issues with these, they are essentially water resistant with all the wax. First week i aerated the lawn with a pitchfork. I regret two things: getting my new boots muddy and not wearing gloves.
Helping friends and family with car maintenance, oil change and repairs.
I still ride my moped to work everyday in rain, snow and salted ice roads. Clerking, moving boxes, pallets, assembeling, transporting and repairing different disability equipment.
They have been worn in the woods and on lighter mountain hikes.
Walking around my local city and on vacation in London taking film photographs...."Read the full review
