It also really stays clean compared to the leather on my other boots. I used saddle soap twice during the dome and at the end of both times I was really impressed how little dust and debris sticks to this leather. Being a fully struck through black leather, it really doesn't patina. At all... But that's honestly a good thing for my work since the bosses can get on your case for not keeping your boots polished and neat...."Read the full review
An amazing boot
Nicks Lace Up Work in Seidel WeatherShield Brown SmoothBy petejones418 • April 5, 2025"Has held up well to everything except a truss plate in an attic that caught and tore a chunk of leather on the toe cap. For care i had an initial conditioning and then have just brushed 2 times a week and a monthly wipe down with a wet cloth. Break in wasnt horrible and the leather has softened and loosened up a bit now and it is pretty molded to my legs and feet..."Read the full review
Boots tough enough for the job!

As for my care routine, I tried to brush them once a week and used some smiths leather balm when the seemed dry. Which gave them a nice reddish orange hue. They’re so tough they’ve held up like no other boot I’ve owed has, and come out looking good after a cleaning...."Read the full review
