I really liked the single row stitchdown to the hand welt and am CRAZY about White’s hand-sewn stitchdown. I was at times wishing I had a medallion toe cap, smaller eyelets, and a dogger heel style so I could dress it up more and wouldn’t lose any functionality. Ultimately, this boot was designed in a way that I could do anything in it and I love that about it. They’ll likely now turn into a hiker and casual boot and I might look to get a V100 on them one day. The only finishing flaw they really had was the stitchdown had a slight cut in it on the inside of the left boot. It didn’t go all the way to the stitching or hand welt so it was fine, just was always nervous it would tear more. These held up against harsh elements and hard hikes.
