Attractive, easy to style, and hard wearing

They are fully leather lined which has maintained the structure well. I've done very little to care for these boots. I wiped them with a damp rag when muddy and brushed twice with a nylon boot brush.

I purposely selected this leather so there would not be much upkeep. I would brush/wipe them off when really dirty. The waxy commander may be suede and not the typical super thick full grain work leather, but as long as not purposely abused, it is hard wearing enough for most jobs...."Read the full review

Waxy Commander is neat stuff! Very durable and easy to clean. I only gave them a good brushing once per month, that's it! That's all they needed. Highly water resistant, and resilient leather. Doesn't show scratches much and if they do, you can usually rub or brush them out. Took about two weeks before they started molding to my feet and feeling comfortable. For care I simply brush them off but if they are exceptionally muddy I might follow with a damp cloth. I picked this leather for its water resistance.
