They felt comfortable out of the box, minus a slight squeeze on my small toes. After about a month that was gone. I tend to get relaxed with my care routine. I like to brush them or wipe them down with a damp rag every couple days to keep the work dust off of them. Sometimes they go a week or more before this happens. I treated them with Sapphir waterproofing and Black rock conditioner.. it’s had some burgundy and other brown shades throughout.. varies in forget lighting. It’s developed some slight creases and bends ., I’m sure had i strictly worn Just these daily they would patina much more ., but they were a custom one of a kind boot ., so I didn’t really beat on them .. I brushed them after use with horsehair brush ., if tried several
