Five year review: Truman natural shell derbies

I don’t wear them for really rough work-boots stuff, but everything else is fair game. I don’t baby them at all… they’ve been on dusty nature walks, beach sand, grassy fields, mud puddles, etc. I walk 5-10 miles per day around town, so they’ve seen a lot of pavement too.
These are also my “nice” shoes for formal occasions - or at least what passes as formal in the rural Pacific Northwest. They kept my feet cozy during my college graduation, conference presentations, two rounds of jury duty, and several job interviews...."Read the full review
Despite their differences...I'm really happy with this pair of service boots.

I'm a delivery driver...you know the guys in those brown trucks. In and out of the trucks, diggin' around in the back, and to the door steps of many a house/buildings in PDX. Over and over and over again. Too many steps and stairs to count.
We got lots of rain and a little snow during the Thunderdome season and this pair exceeded my expectations. Feet were dry all season and no slips and falls. I can't ask for more out of a work boot. Usually I bust my butt at least once during the winter...not this year! They did great on the vast variety of surfaces in an urban/suburban environment. From asphalt to mossy stepping stones to gravel this pair has seen it and everything in-between.
They did go on a few forest trail hikes and some casual days of wear...."Read the full review
Is Dublin suited for work???

First, the one two punch of Helene and Milton. Then, straight back home to regular work in Jersey, pulling wire for a reconductor. Then, moved an hour inland to work on some 12kv feeder tie points outside of a substation.
Winter has quickly become more turbulent with drastic high and low temp swings that could bring in multiple storm systems. It shall be a long winter and rest of the Dome for these boots..."Read the full review
Plain Brown Boots Go with Anything

Have been trying to give them some rest days here and there, but I’ve been wearing them pretty much nonstop. I’ve flown across the country with these things, opened a few medical clinics, done a bunch of physical work, and hiked a ton. I found myself using them on sundays while i was just relaxing in my garage or grilling. My environments at work vary a lot. I build new houses in Texas. The terrain can be very steep, rocky, muddy, sand, trash, brick, flat concrete and nails. One of the features that i like the most is that i can step on 2x4s with nails and they dont puncture my feet. The nails just bend. Beyond that most miles are neighborhood walks of 2-3 miles on mixed terrain to ease into break-in and around town errands.
