As a commuter, I have been using my card case daily to hold my driver's license, credit cards, work ID, and some cash. I open it regularly to swipe in to get into my office, when taking public transit, or when buying food.

I didn't need to break in the leather, from first use I was able to fit all my daily cards, IDs, and cash. The leather was extremely durable with very tight-grain. The color didn't change much and the card case did not patina as much as I thought it would. It was surprising, especially with how much use it went through.

The design is perfect for what I needed the card case for, which is a quick open and close case for my daily commute. Traveling in NYC requires me to be quick, and the way this case was designed made it easy to access my ID, cards, or cash easily, and just as easily put it away. It was completely handmade, carefully constructed, and has durable stitching that has held up to me just flinging it around, putting in my jeans pocket, or throwing in my bag. And I'm not just saying that because my husband made it.

I love my husband and his clear drive to make quality leather goods, 100% handmade. This experience has been wonderful to be able to document my use of a custom card case that he made. The experience has made me appreciate his work even more.
