These took about a month to break in. The toe caps are thick and will always be prominent. Very firm around the ankles for support. Very comfortable all day long.

The design and construction are first rate. The finishing was a little rough with the toe caps. They are not pulled straight, bunching up a bit to look like elephant skin. No issue with functionality. Just looks.

In the therapy office, evening walks, a trip to Italy, a couple hikes, and lots of line dancing. Trying to keep them looking nice, so I change out of them for yard work and heavy labor.
A fantastic boot that gets compliments everywhere I go. As quality PNW boots, they are a bit heavy for some of the line dancing I do, but they sure are great for stomping (yee haw)!

We're talking snow, rain, salt, sweat, and mud. Miles of walking and hours upon hours of gym time. I've definitely taken care not to abuse them in any laborious work I've done in them, as I'm not running them in the work dome. Being they are a chromexcel, I waited until the last month of the competition, once I knew the Idaho winter was over, before conditioning with bick 4 to minimize darkening, and allow the natural patina to keep showing through. They've been through miles upon miles of walking, freight work, gym use, office work, snow, mud, and my toe drag the few times I've thrown disc golf in them. In all, they have had a lot of love and been fantastic. Frank's built them like tanks, super supportive, and the best form fit I've got, and the toe box hasn't even really started to flatten yet, but the toe spring is fantastic.
