Natural Waxed Flesh Vest

I've worn this vest pretty much every single day since October 1st. There were some days it got warm out, and the vest didn't make it the entire day. Butt it would still be worn in the mornings. I've worn it to work, through work, and on my days off. So it's endured work and leisure.
I love how the waxed flesh has come along. It's developed very nicely. Some scuffs and scratches. I have a raw Indigo hoodie that I wore under it, and the transfer has been awesome to see coming. It's gone from stiff to relaxed and comfortable. All of the high flex areas are very supple now. I haven't really done anything to it care wise. It hasn't really needed anything. It's still plenty waxed and conditioned.
The fit is perfect. I based the pattern off an old Carhartt vest. So I knew the fit would be dialed in from the get go. It hasn't shank or stretched. It's just gotten more supple with each wear. I did swap out the original button studs to the double zipper. Which was the right move. The zipper is perfect. Can pull up the bottom zipper while driving. And do full zip for regular wear. The length is great. The swooped down back is perfect for keeping me covered while in heavy movement. Bending and flexing are no problem!
It's held up to everything! The Double row stitching all over is very robust. Stitching on point! Crisp and clean lines! The leather is thick and very durable! High quality YKK #10 double zip! Simple, yet rugged and durable. Can't ask for much more. Love the lined pockets. Nice for those cool mornings. Pen stall is great at keeping tools handy and easily accessible!
I love this vest. I've been a vest guy for years now. And this is by far the best one I've ever had. Great quality, boot thickness leather. Double row stitching. Lined pockets. Pen stall. Hanger loop. It's kept me both warm and dry. Even went through an all out down pour, and my shirt under stayed dry. This leather is serious business.
