As a hat maker I work from my home studio so my footwear gets gentle wear, however, over the thunderdome I took a position in the costume department at Cirque du Soleil and these were perfect for working backstage in the big top. They took me hiking, snow shoeing, dancing, and for miles and miles of walking. I’ve worn them with jeans, skirts dresses, overalls and shorts, there is really no occasion they don’t work for. From the office to jobsites, from sun to sleet, these were on foot. Significant mileage was racked up walking the streets of NYC (the heels tell that tale), a significant amount accompanied by my never-tired Blue Heeler on our daily long walks.
