In summary, I wore these mostly to work and around town. But I also took them on several mountain hikes and a trip to snowy Japan back in January.
They have performed perfectly in all environments. Some sore heels during initial break-in. And after the long snowy hike in Japan with heavy snow. But otherwise they have been comfortable from day 1...."Read the full review

For the first two months I wore them to the training center every day, into the flight simulator, and out at night. For the next couple months I wore them on all my airline trips. Between the rudder pedals, and cramped spaces of a Boeing cockpit, they got banged around quite a bit. They truly can be, and at least in my case, are now real hiking boots. 30+ miles a week for the last 2 months, holding up against my river adjacent, multi-terrain, trail blazing. Durability-wise, I am very impressed. I have much experience tearing through hiking boots, and these things put to shame some of the best cemented hikers on the market (I won't name names...)
