Well worth the wait

My first dome!

However, evenings and weekends I was walking in the nearby parks, putting in the miles with my friends playing Pokemon Go and just generally trying to be outside, not in a car. These chewed through 2 pairs of laces on my adventures.

They’ve seen the full range of everyday conditions: rain, snow, sleet, mud, and the occasional puddle.
Not abused, but definitely not avoided either. The approach has been simple. I wear them wherever I’ve gone without overthinking it.

What a whirlwind! These boots have seen everything. The dome itself was a way for me to take some time and slow down a little. Sitting for a quick 5 minute break and appreciating the beauty of these boots was always a real treat. The boots have mostly been worn indoors on concrete floors. Speaking from the USA Northeastern region, they did see quite a bit of use this winter. From shoveling snow to salting parking lots, I’m surprised they’ve made it through with hardly any water or salt marks. These boots have made it through days of grocery shopping, prepping food, hours of service, overnight hauls, testing recipes, scrubbing floors, climbing ladders, and taking out garbage. On the nice days that I didn’t work, I liked to sit outside for a few hours in the sun by a little campfire. This has been a dome to remember!..."Read the full review

Grant Stone Brass Boot in Badalassi Carlo Oliva Minerva BoxBy EarthToneDaddy • April 3, 2026"Worn through EVERYTHING. I literally checked every box because that’s what they were worn through. A couple things I’d like to highlight that the Brass Boot performs extremely well. They’re a fantastic snow and walking boot. Love the height in the toes and grip of the sole; it honestly might be my favorite sole on a boot I’ve owned. They did great for work around the house and never seemed too bulky or heavy. I would say they were an okay travel boot and an okay hiking boot. I didn’t love how without fail I always had to take them off at security because of the metal shank. For hiking, I would’ve liked a bit more grip on my foot from the upper and likely more arch support. There was, however, no wear scenario in which I was disappointed in the brass boots. They’re the boot Indiana Jones would wear if he actually had to do Indiana Jones things…..."Read the full review

Nicks Lace To Toe in Horween Pacific Waxed FleshBy ShnyHntr91 • April 3, 2026"Early on, these Pacific Waxed Flesh, LTT Roberts were a crucial component in clearing out and cleaning up a nasty plot of land behind our house. Enduring ticks and some of the worst poison ivy I have received to date.
Then winter struck. Snow, sleet then a heavy coating of freezing rain, followed by a month of well below freezing temps. Determined to get my steps in, the Roberts and myself pushed through what seemed to be one of the worst winters that I can recollect in a long time.
Finally winter began to break and it was time to begin helping my youngest practice softball. There were no tasks too tall for the mighty PWF LTT's. They only continued asking for more...."Read the full review
