Timber Roanoke, Builder Pro's. The Supple Veg Tanned Leather That Could...
Nicks BuilderPro in Horween Timber Roanoke
By ShnyHntr91 • April 3, 2026
"Setting poles, pulling wire, bringing electricity into folks homes are the required duties asked of all my work boots. But these endured so much more than that. Several weeks of either wet conditions and/or frozen temperatures kept this pair in check day in and day out. Calcium Chloride was the ultimate boss battle, as it worked its way deeper into the vulnerable vegetable tanned leather that Roanoke is. Several light duty cleanings were needed just to maintain the integrity of the boot. Once winter broke the scars of battle were evident but the Builder Pro's still stand strong...."

Solid boots
Tricker's Churchill in Horween Natural Dublin
By claus • April 3, 2026
"Just regular office work, walking the dog, cycling around. We had a lot of snow in January and the dainite soles were not up to the task at all. Had a couple of deep gashes on the left boot from a sharp edge on my bike stand. Sad, but they thankfully didn’t seem to affect weather protection too much...."

Boots chosen at random, worn with purpose.
Nicks MTO in Law Tanning Black Smooth Shruken Bison & Wicket & Craig Double Stuffed Walnut
By Particlepartition • April 3, 2026
"I am finishing my apprenticeship to become an electrician this year. These boots have been on the largest project I've ever been a part of. They've seen miles of crawling through service tunnels under a church, time spent in the bell tower, up and down scaffolding, bent thousands of feet of conduit, hours in scissor lifts 30 feet in the air, and tons of kicking myself for my mistakes. They've taken it all in stride and have been a wonderful constant in my work life..."

Winter Sh*tkickers for the everyday Canadian.
Canada West WM. Moorby 2857 in Grand Canyon Breakwall
By SirDabsAlot • April 3, 2026
"These boots were my primary winter boot for the worst of the worst that the cold northern Canadian winter brings. They saw extremes of -40C and were put to the test. They held up great and did the job. They saw all kinds of terrain from fields to forests, river banks to mountain sides...."

Willie's Handmade Boots Pioneer Lace To Toe in Maryam Toscanello TPR Horsebutt
By AlManuel • April 3, 2026
"I’m a fourth grade teacher who rides motorcycles daily. I knew I needed a boot that was durable enough to ride with and looked good at work. All the patina and scarring are the results of daily rides and working on my feet all day. Throw in some daily walks through the neighborhood and a few trips and they are the worn beauties you see before you. Yes they set off a few TSA lines and were the subject of numerous questions by my students, but these six months were a blast...."
