Jakkrabbits Boots are High Quality and Run Small

I wore these to the office and walking outside a couple miles here and there mainly. Very casual. They’ve been to see Metallica in Detroit and several football games.

These came in too small. I need a size larger than they recommended. So break in was extremely difficult. I still don’t have them. They can’t get longer is the problem. I persevered through this contest and made it. But. Need the proper sizing next time. I almost quit a couple of times. I conditioned these early to help stretch and the leather was thirsty.

Sizing should be true to size. They recommend a size down from brannock. That is very small in this last. Besides sizing these are very well made and the soles feel great,

These boots are well made. They took the time skill and effort to craft these boots. If they were a size larger then I’d be thrilled.

These soles are great. I hardly see any wear. They are very comfortable have great traction.

Jakkrabbits is a company that makes high quality boots but you need to force your sizing on them. They will recommend a small size and if you complain they’ll say they mold to your feet. That is not accurate either that size discrepancy. It’s hard to get around the sizing issues. These are beautiful boots with high quality components. It’s a hard company to work with without direct experience with them. If I ordered again I’m sure I’d be happy in the correct size. But I did not have a great experience.
