I wore my pair almost everyday except when the snow was at knee height level. I travelled a lot and I can walk on these for miles, I have no problems at airports cause I used wooden shanks and they served me perfectly well every single day, there definitely is a benefit owning Your own shoes 🤩
I have to tel you guys, if you want a roughout that is soft and comfortable, while rugged and resilient, don’t hesitate, these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had since day one… unfortunately about patina, it is surprisingly resistant to staining and color changing, it repels everything and with a little stiff brushing, it looks as new right away, seems like it’s only weakness is indigo 🤷🏻♂️ I guess that is only unfortunate in the context of this contest, cause who does not want a light colored roughout boot that will not look nasty right away?
Spenlé lasts are quite anatomically shaken, they are comfortable and roomy, although they look sleek. They have just the right arch support and have beautiful curves and heels, just ask Lars and Nathan why they choose them 🙌
Well, i made the shoes and I am very critical of my own work so wouldn’t say perfect, I can tell you that people complimenting other people’s shoes does not happen as often as it should, specially for us that love our own shoes too much, but these have been complimented so much, I am not sure why, I made a very basic design but I do believe my work in the proportions paid off and that draws attention. In terms of construction, stitching, clicking, finishing and so on, I am very proud, these are 100% handmade, hand sewn uppers and sole stitching and I believe it would be very hard for a non shoe nerd to find any mistakes on them, even when I myself see 100 mistakes myself 🤣
430 soles and red wing 430 soles are not even close! Red wings are hard and too sturdy I think, these soles are just my favorite, they are thick and bouncy and have just enough grip but also are easy on the knees! 100% recommend!
I am very happy with this experiment, it is very hard to wear the same shoes everyday and I do believe I used the wrong leather for it, just in terms of how resilient to change in color it is, but I will definitely keep wearing my shoes for a long time and come back next year with some boots, cause low top shoes in norways winter… what was I thinking? 🤣 THANK YOU GUYS for doing this, it is a great experience and I loved being part of it as well as looking at my friends’ progress throughout it 🙏
