White's
MP-Sherman Toe Cap
MP Last
US Men's Brannock: 8D
MP Last: 7E
Brannock size 8D. Shoe fits just perfectly. Not too big or too small.
White's
Sized 1 full size down in length from brannock and 1 size up in width.
Worn casually around the town and for work in the hospital.
The leather was pretty soft out of the box and practically no break in period. The boots were brushed once a week and had shoe trees inserted after every used. The boots developed some scraps here and there, but was overall pretty comfortable and durable. The boots were only conditioned once before final photo submitions, which darkened the leather.
The MP last is quiet a narrow, but long last. I sized 1 full size down from brannock and 1 width up. It initially felt quiet comfortable; however I felt that my foot might have gotten wider over the course of the thunderdome. I ended up having to discomfort on both pinky toes. If I could size again I have either go up half a size or 1 more width.
Overall I had no issues with the construction. It's quiet a hefty and durable built boot. Definitely feels like a very tough boot.
It was a little slippery at first, but the traction increased once it wore in.
Just the right amount of heel height without feeling uncomfortable.
Overall, I feel like you can't go wrong with the White's MP Sherman if you want a more rugged service style lace up boot. It's hefty and durable built. I felt comfortable walking through different environments hazard without having to worry about it affecting my foot.
