A go anywhere, do anything boot
Viberg Service Boot in C.F. Stead Snuff Naked KuduBy varnu • April 5, 2025"I like this Kudu leather. It's a lot tougher than I imagined it would be. Just about impervious to damage and significant scuffs. I believe it's chrome tanned, which made the evolution a little slow. But it's soft, stretchy and comfortable with little break in. It doesn't burnish too easily, but with brushing it does buff up quite nicely. My favorite part of the leather is the wrinklyness at the flex points. I like how it developed, but I'd accept 300% more wrinkling happily.

Attractive, easy to style, and hard wearing

They are fully leather lined which has maintained the structure well. I've done very little to care for these boots. I wiped them with a damp rag when muddy and brushed twice with a nylon boot brush.

Mostly brush off dirt with one wash with saddle soap and then some Bick4. The Kudu leather feels tougher that a traditional cow hid. Waxy Commander is neat stuff! Very durable and easy to clean. I only gave them a good brushing once per month, that's it! That's all they needed. Highly water resistant, and resilient leather. Doesn't show scratches much and if they do, you can usually rub or brush them out. Took about two weeks before they started molding to my feet and feeling comfortable. Very good experience. The kudo is very soft, very comfortable leather that takes the weather well.
