Nov-Dec: November was a blustery month in the PNW. These boots slogged through the downed branches and wet leaves while walking enthusiastic dogs.
Dec-Jan: December is more of the same: outdoor dog walking in PNW rainy muddy weather 🐾
Jan-Feb: January saw more dog walking through all terrain which included being tangled in brambles and lots of mud.

From the wooded and rocky areas of Sardinia, with dust, sea, sand and mud, to the mountains of Trentino where there were heavy snowfalls and temperatures even at minus 15. I tend not to use heavy socks and I still found them good in both area.
I have also used them to work both in the evening at the reception of a restaurant, and as a shiatsu masseur in various hotels in Trentino, and for pleasure trips in the city.
The best use, however, was to visit many lost archaeological sites in Sardinia where the shoes, like me, were imbued with incredible energy...."Read the full review

Grant Stone Nora Boot in Horween Dune ChromexcelBy wildflowersnboots • April 6, 2025"I initially tried the natural waxy commander with the commando sole, but they were just a little too big. I wanted more traction because we like to walk and hike a lot. I ended up with the Nora's because they are pretty and versatile for casual and dressy wear.
I wore these boots mostly as casual boots. Lots of urban wear, errends, and paved paths. I did end up wearing them in the snow and ice a bit, because my uncle needed his walkway and driveway shoveled, but he didn't tell me that before I went over to his house. He lives pretty close and my house didn't have any snow left, so I didn't think to take other footwear with me. Did some house projects and yard projects as well. Lots of waiting room wear and only a couple of hikes on mostly paved paths. Lots of walking the dogs and strolling through little towns and parks. Went on a couple or road trips with them, so they've been to 15 states...."Read the full review
