True Love!

I had zero experience with natural leather boots so I was babying these with walks to and from the office until I fell in chasing an angry toddler’s thrown sippy cup. After that introduced some fascinating stains and patterns it was off to the races- these have busted through snow at 7,000 feet and soaked by a hose-happy toddler multiple times. These took me to casinos, logging conferences, daycare walks, office meetings, back country road trips, wildlife photography expeditions, Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners, trips across 4 different Sierra passes, and dozens of family walks. I took these on steeper and rougher ground than I’ve ever worn engineer boots and they were fantastic every time..."Read the full review

My job requires me to sometimes get down on the floor and play with the littles, jump around, take the on strolls to the park and play chase occasionally. Most of the time is just me walking around while typing notes in my laptop. So, my Addicts have been in that mostly office environment but have also weather the occasional outdoor walk, or very occasional garden project. I try to limit the use of “work” category projects and would don my 10875s for those. I wanted to be intentional, take care of my boots, push them appropriately and not baby them. They got to assist me in clearing tree debris, digging a hole for a few small trees and even making a pick up game of basketball but never overtly pushed for the explicit gain of forced patina...."Read the full review
Another year, another dome

They saw all types of conditions from prepped hospital operating rooms (with shoe covers on of course) to local dive bars to concerts to light hikes. Being in the northeast, they saw 2 record breaking blizzards in 1 year. They were on my feet when my car got stuck in feet of snow overnight and they were back on when I went to dig said car out a day later. They were on my feet while I stood and rounded for hours in the ICU and they definitely saved my feet, knees, and back. While I don’t work in as harsh conditions as many who participate in the dome, my boots still saw quite a bit of use and took everything I could throw at them and just got better and better. I work part time retail and as an academic advisor (nothing super strenuous lol). I wore these on my mile long trek across campus in mornings and on the sales floor in the afternoons. Outside of work, I hike and walk my dogs a good bit, these came along for the ride many of times. I took these up to Minnesota and knew York and wore them in snow during the major snow storm in NC.
