These things were never meant to live on a construction for 6 months but they took it like a champ. They are badly in need of a resole but other then that they are ready to keep on going

I the size on these horribly wrong but it was too late to change. I’m crossing my fingers I didn’t do permanent damage to my feet but in the end we made it.

These boots are sturdy and if used like they were built to be used they would last forever. Even with the abuse I put them through they held up great and With a fresh resole they would be good to go.

These boots were never meant to be used like I used them. They spent most of the last 6 months doing construction work. I also got the size wrong and suffered from crushed toes but in the end we made it. The boots did fabulous other then the sole being completely shot but with a fresh resole these things would be ready to keep going. I am impressed with whites and someday hope to get a pair that actually fits well enough for me to enjoy them.

As my first job after getting out of high school I assisted in the safe assembly of scaffolding on the west end of the church to be used in assessing and repairing a structural crack in a wall and another more concerning crack on the dome of the church. I made adobe blocks made up of dirt and sand mixed, then molded in wood forms and set to dry. I did a lot of weed whacking, leaf blowing, sidewalk brushing, bathroom cleaning, trash picking, vacuum running, dirt scooping, and wood working but I also did a whole lot of learning about my local culture and history which provided an overall great experience and first job. I tried to wear them hard especially during the second half of the dome. These boots were worn on a ton of hikes through the Georgia mountains. Wore them to help my friend move a piano down three flights of ice covered stairs (do not recommend with leather soles). They also saw their fair share of skating. I did travel to Nevada for a few days though! 😆 Most of my boot wearing is done at work as a delivery driver. On the weekends I may go on a hike or kick around town doing chores and such. This pair has been a fine companion on my daily grind in the PNW.
We had a mild winter here in Portland. No snow or ice...just rain. 🫠
I'd say most of their days have been spent in SE Portland in the neighborhoods between the waterfront and SE 82nd ave. Typical urban environment with some excursions to the surrounding suburbs and a few days at the Oregon coast.
My work requires retrieving/organizing parcels in the back of the truck so some wear is acquired behind the bulkhead door.
Sidewalks, asphalt, stepping stones, concrete, gravel, grass, mud, dirt, steps, ramps, wooden decks, moss covered decks 💀, stone, and every other surface imaginable in a PNW neighborhood...these boots have been on.
The last two Thunderdomes I competed in the work category, but this year I wanted to run in the Open. I felt like the style of boot lent itself more to the Open category and wanted to rub shoulders with some patina legends!
