Gets better with every wear
Nicks Nicks X Parkhurst V3 in Horween Cypress 8By unknown • April 5, 2026"I work in an office, which is where these were with me everyday. I also used them for choring around the house. Whether it’s pulling attic fans out of old houses, or braving a winter storm to cut frozen trees away from the house. These were on my feet.
I brush them up for the office on Monday, but otherwise, they do everything. They’ll be with me on a multi-day hike at the Grand Canyon next week.

I wore them on a flight to Oregon where my dad and I loaded a U-Haul with my grandmothers things and helped her move to Arizona to be with family. Not long ago my pug fell in the pool and I dropped by the edge to pull him out and he is safe and sound, the toe caps got scuffed and lost their sheen but got it back after some brushing and buffing. My contractors look great going to the grocery store, walking in some snow, sitting on the bleachers at my little brother’s baseball games, or with my legs kicked out on the couch while I watch Star Wars. I like to wear these boots more casually than for outdoor work, though they are more than capable of putting in some hard miles...."Read the full review

Based in Singapore, humidity and heat are a constant but travels have taken me to beaches of Cebu earlier this year, snow of Kyushu in the dead of winter and wonderful coast of Perth at the end of 2025. Safe to say the Trickers definitely held up and saw the beauty this world has to offer.
Note: The midway mark saw a touch up with Saphir products since the dry winter wind in Japan was merciless. Perhaps the patina would have been more prominent without this but I’m more keen on protecting the leather than high contrast patina for the sake of it...."Read the full review

I've worn them for Iowa football games, Iowa basketball games (I've even stormed the court at Carver Hawkeye arena in these), and the Houston Rodeo (which included a Creed Concert).
If my tally is right, I've worn them in 5 states (Iowa, Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, and Colorado) as well as 2 countries (Taiwan and USA).
