I have to survey over pavement, grass fields, forests and thick unkept underbrush.
I have to walk through thorns and briars often and am walking in tall grass often. These things cause rapid wear on boots.

I could not have asked for a better pair of dome boots, the wholecut makes a beautiful worn in boot.

While the leather was robust enough that the little dings and scrapes from averaging four plane rides a week for most of the dome buffed out no problem.
