The handed adventure.

These are my daily drivers. I work from home and I have them with me all the time. With that said had a been a dirt bike rider these boots wouldn't have shown a mark. This leather is arrow proof - not bullet proof like waxed flesh but this can certainly take a beating and keep lookin good.

What can I say? Maryam is legendary and this was he horse but with the intact shell is amazing. The character is like nothing else out there. I hand overdyed these and thought the color would wear out to begin showing the underlying mustard color. I joked and called it pee core but the joke is on me. These hand overdyed leathers really hold on to the color.

These Chelseas have plenty of space in the toe and the volume is always a worry with laceless boots and none of these things are a problem. This last is true to size and seems like it would be comfortable for almost a hone.

The craftsmanship on these was great. You can see the marks of the craftsman and as the shell is intact you can see the decisions he mad in the clicking. The temper on this leather is soft and leather reinforcement was added to the Instep and that cause some discomfort has it pumped up against my toes at the toe crease. Like with all vedge tanned leather I was able to clear it up with a little water and a few tools to make space in the problem spots.

These boots were 100% a product of bootcamp. I bought the hide from Maryam. Christian stopped me himself and asked me about the leather. He encouraged me to go wild with the make up and he loved the idea of the overdye. He took the brainstorming he did to his team and they executed perfectly. Now I walk around with a pair that is more special to me than I can say. I handpicked the hide, modified it through a partnership I made with the owner and he helped me pick out all the details. What else would you want from this process?
