Built like a brick house, but fits like a glove

A few days of constant wear they finally started to break in. After a few weeks they molded themselves to my feet and feel like a extension of my body.
My care routine is try to brush the concrete dust at least once a week. I also use Huberd’s Shoe grease every few months. Cause I believe it helps repel water since i live in such a rainy climate. The first time i greased my boots the rough out leather sucked up the oils and darkened them drastically. Love these boots- the quality of the build and fit are top notch, and the leather is tough as shit.

The lowers have darkened and have many “polished” spots. The uppers have turned into the most beautiful golden honey shade that i cannot stop staring at. The leather is super soft and pliable and perfectly formed to my foot- like a slipper. Obenaufs LP on the inside several times and brushing dirt on the outside has kept them very healthy...."Read the full review

I skipped the first speed hook for the first two or three days, and went on a couple of long walks those days. Only pressure point would've been on my forefoot, but skipping the speed hook took care of this. After that, it's been comfortable and has only gotten more comfortable.
The leather itself has held up great. It still feels pliable and nourished. The tan color has gotten much darker compared to their brand new appearance. A different color name for these could be "wheat," which seems to fit the character of the leather better than "tan." The vamp and heel, not covered by pants, ha e more vibrant color. Outside quarters show a lot of indigo transfer (personally, I think boots look better with minimal/no crocking, but I haven't done anything to remove it yet, but will soon)...."Read the full review
