Gets better with every wear

Whether it’s pulling attic fans out of old houses, or braving a winter storm to cut frozen trees away from the house. These were on my feet.
I brush them up for the office on Monday, but otherwise, they do everything. They’ll be with me on a multi-day hike at the Grand Canyon next week.

Based in Singapore, humidity and heat are a constant but travels have taken me to beaches of Cebu earlier this year, snow of Kyushu in the dead of winter and wonderful coast of Perth at the end of 2025. Safe to say the Trickers definitely held up and saw the beauty this world has to offer.
Note: The midway mark saw a touch up with Saphir products since the dry winter wind in Japan was merciless. Perhaps the patina would have been more prominent without this but I’m more keen on protecting the leather than high contrast patina for the sake of it...."Read the full review

They have been great in all conditions and terrains. I've hiked in them, ended up on ice, had to walk through a bit of snow, thousands upon thousands of steps on concrete, and have absolutely loved them. Great traction going up and down rocky and dirt trails, very little slippage on ice and snow, and comfortable even with a ridiculous amount of walking on concrete. I've worked on house repairs and done yard work in these. Being in Oklahoma we've had everything from hot and humid weather to cold and extremely dry weather to a mix of both...."Read the full review
